Named after the River Brett, a smaller Suffolk river that winds through old villages and quiet countryside before meeting Stour at Higham. Brett Lodge offers a peaceful base with stunning surroundings and easy access to some of Suffolk’s most characterful rural corners.

Named for John Constable, whose paintings are inseparable from the lanes, skies and river valleys around East Bergholt and Flatford. Constable Lodge is a quiet place to settle into the same landscape, with Stour Valley close by and the heart of Constable Country on your doorstep.

The River Deben is one of Suffolk’s great landscape rivers, flowing from inland villages towards Woodbridge, Sutton Ho and the coast. Deben Lodge takes its name from that sense of journey – a comfortable base for exploring countryside, market towns, estuary paths and days out further east, where your four-legged friend is welcome too.

Named after the River Stour, the closest river to the lodges and just a short walk away. Stour lodge is a perfect getaway for exploring Constable Country from the water’s edge – whether on foot, by rowing or paddleboard, or simply lazing by the riverbank. With welcoming cafés and restaurants along the river, it makes for an easy, unhurried day out.

Named after the River Orwell, which flows through Suffolk towards Ipswich and its iconic waterfront, beneath the majestic Orwell Bridge and past riverside villages such as Levington and Pin Mill, before fanning out towards the sea between Shotley and Felixstowe. Orwell Lodge reflects the wider Suffolk landscape beyond the village – quiet countryside, historic towns, estuary views and coastal days out, with beautiful beaches within easy reach.
